Gum-Nut Babies, the first gumnut book, appeared in 1916 during World War One. Around the same time May Gibbs created her first printed postcards for sending to Australian troops serving overseas. This set of twelve postcards celebrate May Gibbs and remember WWI and are a great souvenir or gift. They are supplied in a resealable cellophane bag. These high quality (101 x 151mm, 320 GSM silk stock) postcards were reproduced from the original printed postcards held in the State Library of New South Wales. When she died, May Gibbs bequeathed her works to The Northcott Society and Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Through her foresight, May Gibbs has helped thousands of Australian children with disability and their families. For further information please visit maygibbs.org.
